The third workshop,“Developing engaged curricula: Industry Engagement and Technology” (Wednesday 1 March 2017) was a panel discussion regarding the role of technology in enhancing student engagement with industry partners.

Panel members included:

  • Dr Pete Mosely, Senior Lecturer in Physics. Project Co-ordinator for the 3rd year ‘Industry Teams’ project
  • Mrs Jo Rouse, Placement Officer in the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Liaises with Industry employers and supporting students throughout the recruitment process
  • Dr Kevin Robinson, Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and Project Supervisor on the Team Bath Racing project

Discussion topics included developing and enhancing industry links in research and research-enriched teaching, and the role of technology, including some of the opportunities and challenges afforded by use of technology.
